Potato Point
This is Potato Point from the view down the beach. There is a path winding up the hill at the far end of the beach. About three houses up the street is 11 Long Point St. Not bad!
Whale watching /imagination occurs off the point and on either side of the point. More pics on that later.
Potato Point is somewhat of a weekend retreat. The internet definitely gets more sluggish on weekends with more users! There are now only about 3 vacant lots that I have identified but many houses are quiet during the week. Most have wallabies or kangaroos snoozing in them. There are still a couple of houses for sale if interested; unfortunately the third just got marked "sold".
The house is set up well for a shared home. Kitchen in the middle with two beds and one bathroom on either side. Each side also has a living space. While the living spaces and kitchen are open floor plan, it still feels divided. There is a "fenced" off backyard (no 'roos) with lots of flowers, herbs and two very fruit laden lemon trees. The front is another flower landscape, naturally fertilized by roo poop. It has a lovely front bench and umbrella that is our outside home. Yesterday, I had crested pigeons use the driveway in front of me for a "speed dating" event:
I was going to capture the fun crested appearance when things went full bore!
Our days often involve a looping walk to check for whales and then off into the Eurobodalla National Park (pretty much all around) to look for birds. More recently, though, we have been trying to manage errands. Back to the bank, drivers license office, etc tomorrow. Maybe also fishing licences/licenses.
We have also been celebrating birthdays - Casey on the 17th and Nan (Scott's mum) and Matt on the 19th. The kids painstakingly tried to coach us through playing Wingspan on Steam/Discord. Will try plan B next time!
I will try to get this link to more friends and family; feel free to share
